Ixuxú, grito mágico que usaban los astures para manifestar su poderío, su invencible fuerza cuando guerreaban con el ardor de victoria que los caracterizaba. El Ixuxú era para los astures en los tiempos pasados como la gloriosasa bandera que pintaban con sus gritos en el viento, sacándola de lo más profundo de su espíritu con el grito del Ixuxú, que podía significar la alegría suprema, la fuerza invencible, el poder indomable de un Pueblo que jamás precisó de la ayuda de nadie para vencer por si mismo todas las adversidades. La palabra de Ixuxú debía de estar escrita dentro de la venerable CRUZ de la Bandera de ASTURIAS. ¡¡IXUXU ASTURIES…!! Significa, lucha, vence, se feliz, ama, ayuda, pero no odies ni desprecies. Así se han comportado siempre las gentes que murieron luchando por su Melgueira Tierrina desde los antiguos tiempos, hasta la "GUERRA CIVIL, estas gentes astures atadas al tradicional ancestro, unidas indivisiblemente por él, se parecían en nada a las gentes que hoy en día dirigen y gobiernan los intereses de mi querida Asturias, que pisoteando y escarneciendo las "Costumbres y Tradiciones", están asesinando la Hidalguía y Natural Nobleza de mi Tierrina, que les castigará a todos, maldiciéndolos en todos los sentidos por ser indignos hijos de ASTURIAS.Primer Diccionario Enciclopédicu de la Llingua Asturiana > ixuxú
